The Extended Garden Florist

I ordered a memorial dish garden through FTD, carefully selecting an arrangement with ALL LIVE plants. I wanted a collection that would live on, like the legacy and love of the woman whose life the flowers were to meant to memorialize.

After a couple of hours I received an email stating the florist would be replacing three of the blooming plants in the arrangement with cut flowers due to lack of inventory. FTD 1-800# was unable to find a florist who could deliver what I had ordered. So I cancelled the order and went online in search of a local florist.

Maureen, the owner of The Extended Garden, was a delight. She described the options she had available and together we selected plants that would create the tribute I had intended. I was already feeling fortunate to have found her.

Another couple of hours passed and she called me back. She let me know the arrangement was complete and turned out gorgeous. But she was also calling to let me know FTD had NOT cancelled my order, and had in fact just called her to ask her to fill it. My impression was solidified. She could have accepted the order and sent a second arrangement, and I would have never known it was her shop that had done so. The billing would have been through FTD. But instead she called to let me know they had not actually cancelled and were still shopping it around.

I was blown away by the selection of plants and flowers to choose from at The Extended Garden. They have every color of the rainbow from wildflowers to tropical plants to the classic rose. They have some of the most beautiful roses I have ever seen. The owner was so incredibly nice and helpful and designed my arrangement right there in front of me! And I know the flowers were fresh and high quality because they stayed absolutly gorgeous longer than any other flowers I've gotten from any store. Two thumbs way up...I will never go anywhere else for flowers again!
