Dear Rooms to Go:

Thank you for ruining my experience with your company, I went into the Asheville location to purchase a leather living room set with recliner. I was ASSURED that I was getting all the features that I was looking for (brown 100% leather, power recliner, glider features) when I made the purchase. FIRST screw up: Sales person Dave Jabber said that we had the 2020 financing offer that later when we had signed the sale said OOPS! it was until 2018... We let that one pass because we always pay off the amount before the date... the REAL screw up was on delivery day. We get the furniture, and one of the items was NOT power recliner.. We call the store and speak to a Patrick who calls himself a manager, and get a " it doesn't even exist with that feature". We go to the store to see if we can pick something else out.. NOPE. We ask if the manager can work with us to keep the set and price match us down... NOPE, he was completely unwilling to keep the sale or help us find some other alternative. The BEST part of it all, is that we now have to KEEP THE FURNITURE IN OUR HOUSE until the delivery people come back to get in in over a week!! We canceled the order, and closed our account with them and they were even then unwilling to get there product back from us and delay our return until they "take possession of their product" OH, and the deposit?! I don't get that back (even though it was CASH) until they get their furniture back too!! ! Not only do I say NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION, but DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ROOMS TO GO! I called their "corporate" customer service to only be cut off by the multiple agents I spoke with saying that the "individual store is the only one that can help you". THIS IS HOW YOU DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS?! Deceitfully sell them into products that are not what they asked for, make them feel like crap for THE STORE'S MISTAKES and then make your customers jump through hoops when they try to return the product?!

I went to Ashley Home Store and spent 2k more for similar couches, with ALL THE FEATURES I wanted, got the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.. Thank you Rooms to Go for opening my eyes and showing me where you get the best deal. NOT YOU

Overpriced. Horrible customer service. Will try to cheat you of your money and tack on every possible extra charge. Beware of this store.

I do not understand how this place is in business. My experience with them has been abysmal. Im typing this review as I sit here and wait for them to replace a set of bunk beds that were delivered and damaged during setup. The beds were put together so poorly I can't even let my kids in their room and they have been sleeping on our couch for the past four nights. It looks like they used pieces of scrap wood to piece it together. Bolts are missing and the workers left a bag of wood screws on the floor in my kids room. I had to beg and plead with them to come out again to fix the issue. Originally they were going to make us wait over a week to return.



Do not expect any help from he store. If you have an issue, the store manager will throw his hands up in the air and give you the number for "customer service". I had taken pictures and the manager said he didnt even have an email account for me to send them to.



The worst part, and I guess this is my fault, is that I didnt notice how poor the quality of the bunk beds are. Even if the beds were setup correctly and not damaged, I would still be very disappointed. Should have taken a better look.



Steer clear of this place!!!!!!

Purchased over $ 9000.00 in furniture from this company and went back to store to buy two more dining room chairs. We were told they couldn't be delivered in the two week time frame that we needed them but were told we could pick them up at the asheville store. First pick date they only sent one chair and it was broken. Second pick up date only sent one chair instead of two. Store manager told me that they don't really offer store pick up services (we were not told this at purchase time ) and this is my fault since we didn't pay a delivery charge that this happened. Beware of this store. Horrible customer service.
