        More fun than most mellow mushroom establishments. The ambiance is unique and a great distraction while you wait. Very pleasant staff for the most part. This is a place for the family. Safest bet if you’re downtown Asheville with some kids. Food is always great.

        GREAT FOOD

        IF U WANT HAND MADE PIZZA AND NOT SOME PREMADE FROZEN CRAP THEN MELLOW MUSHROOM IS FOR YOU. BEST PIZZA AROUND THE AREA. AVERAGE WAIT TIME IS 30 MINUTES BUT WELLLLL WORTH THE WAIT. OVER 100 DIFFERENT BEERS AS WELL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

        I come to realize my family ea...

        I come to realize my family eats alot of pizza. And Mellow Mushroom happens to be my 6yo son's favorite place to go. If he had his choice, he would go every week! There are a wide variety of pizzas available and portions are pretty hefty. I like the fact that they make a mean Chocolate Martini. Overall it's great. I just wish it was closer to ample parking.

        No food, only beer

        Though I haven't had the food at Mellow, I have sampled most of the beer, of which they have a wonderful selection of local craft. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgable, they have great live entertainment (Sanctum Sully anyone?!?!?) and their beer selection, especially for IPAs, is exceptional.
