Firestone Complete Auto Care

Phone call attitude matters.

I was just checking the web for a good price on oil changes. We seniors need good deals, (Who doesn't) I found Firestone on Tunnel Rd. Asheville NC and asked if they had the $19.99 oil change at this location. To my surprise the young man "Very Politely" said yes sir we do. I asked if an appointment was necessary and again politely, he said no sir, just come one in.

I know the location and there are even several places to walk to get something to eat, while they work on your car. I'm headed that way tomorrow 9-25-15, to see if page two (The rest of the story) is as good as the Polite Firestone rep was on the phone. Having worked in public relations for most of my life, I can tell you, treat a customer the way you would want to be treated on the phone "Makes A Difference" Tomorrow they get my money :-) I will post the rest of the story and see if they get my 5th star. Sounds like they will.

I was traveling to Asheville for the weekend to see some friends when I experienced some problems with my car after filling up my tank for the 180 mile drive home. I called AAA who told me that I would have to tow my car home due to the fact that it was the weekend and that they weren't able to find any shops open on a Saturday, especially at 3 PM. After much frustration, my father found this Firestone online and told me that they were open until 5 and that he spoke with someone and they were expecting me. I made it there and then I told them the problems that my car was having and then they found the problem was my ignition coil was burnt out. They were very kind and welcoming ! They called all over the city looking for the right part for my car, which was unavailable and would have to be overnighted. I didn't have over night, so they rearranged my ignition coils so that they would work better and get me home. They were very knowldgable and friendly throughout this whole time and kept me informed with what they were doing.



There was one thing in particular that really stood out to me that made this Firestone absolutely exceptional. The next morning, Sunday, the man who was assisting me called to make sure that I got home safely. This Firestone took customer service above and beyond!
