Eliada Homes, founded in 1903, is a nonprofit agency dedicated to help children. Located in Asheville, N.C., Eliada Homes is spread over an area of more than 200 acres. The organization serves children and families through a wide spectrum of programs and services. Its services include residential and day treatment for high-risk children and adolescents; child development center services, including day care, summer camp and school age care; foster care and therapeutic foster care; and community support services. The organization also offers therapeutic recreation services, featuring Therapeutic Animal Stewardship Cooperative and National Youth Project Using Minibikes. It organizes various sports teams, such as basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, volleyball and golf.
