Ed Headrick coined and trademarked the term "Disc Golf" when formalizing the sport and invented the Disc Pole Hole, the first disc golf target to incorporate chains and a basket on a pole.DGA Mach Series of baskets are found all over the world and over 3/4 of U.S. disc golf courses have chosen DGA Disc Pole Holes.
