The Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic, founded in 1942 and based in Arlington, Va., offers a variety of techniques of diagnosis and treatment in orthopedics. Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute developed the first Food and Drug Administration-approved, porous-coated, cementless hip implant. This hip implant was pioneered in the early 1970s by Anderson Clinic s physician, Dr. Charles Engh.
