The Neighborhood Doctor

Saturday, I went to take my 3 kids to do the annual wellness check up. I have CHIP on all 3 which is covered under this insurance. The receptionist said there was a 20 dollar co pay for each one. I was kinda hesitated to pay that but I needed to get these done for back to school. So i paid 60 dollars before the visit. My oldest got everything normal done. However, they didn't say anything about height weight etc. Now my second child- has asthma- ask for an inhaler- didn't get one.. They only checked his weight and height and pressure. - btw he is over weight.. was expecting them to give my some kind of information on losing weight. Didn't bother to check eye sight and he wears glasses. My 3rd child- only checked her weight and height and pressure. Also over weight.. didn't mention anything about that. and they didn't check her eye sight. Also needs her 5 yr shots and didn't tell me anything about that only. we can not give those here. Overall, bad experience. I called today Monday to get full refund because this receptionist knew I wasn't suppose to get charged. I have changed my PCP NOW! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Sat in the waiting room for two hours while listening to the nurse staff talk amongst themselves about Facebook and lunch time while there was a line and a waiting room full of people, just because the medicine is cheaper doesn't mean the quality of staff members has to be

I've been going here for 25 years and I will not be stepping foot in there again. As an adult, I've never had a problem going somewhere else where my business is appreciated.



Another option for people in this area is to go to MCA on matlock. The waiting tone is about the same and the staff is much friendlier. I hope this helps everyone out.

Very easy to deal with. There's usually a short wait time. Almost always see the same Doctor. I've been taking my family there for 10 years, and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I will agree with the former reviews. This is a great clinic. The staff is always on point . Noone ever makes you feel rushed or uncomfortable. I have been seeing Dr. Wilkerson and the PA's for a few years now and i always get treated like i am the only patient there. They are always so professional.

Went in last night at 10:30pm and they were very nice and not trying to rush me out the door...they told me they have new extended hours from 7am to 11pm and everyday of the year ......they dont even take off christmas......what a great place!!!
