Great service on my 95 Mercedes E300 Deisel. I purchased the car at an estate sale. I had no service information or records. Sam and Joes checked the car over and found a few problems. All problems were fixed in record time. The price was right and I feel all of their employees are professional. I was given a tour of the facility and met the mechanic that worked on my car. I would highly recommend Sam and Joes to service your foreign car. I will be back when I need service on my E300.

Do not take your BMW here for repairs!!! They over-charge on labor!!!! They do not let you speak to a mechanic when you have questions! Our 99 BMW has been to Sam and Joes many times and they always fix only "half the job." They are always looking for something else to fix, and they want to just put a "band-aid" on it rather than fixing it correctly. I strongly recommed you take your car to Auto Paradise of Texas off Cooper Street in South Arlington. They are three times cheaper on labor, are certified mechanics, and are wonderful to deal with! We will not be using Sam and Joes anymore. - The McCoys.

If there was a choice to rate no stars thats about where i'd put sam and joe's. I purchased my car last year and around august i needed an alignment. My parents recommended the shop to me because my mom took her porsche boxter there. I had previously installed a coilover system and rear camber kit which were aftermarket items. Whether or not it was aftermarket, the car was not lower than the mustange or z4. I paid Sam and Joe's nearly $400 to adjust coilover height and full aligment. The result was such an (aggressive stance) in non-technical terms meaning tilter as so ( / \ ) that premature tire wear would appear sooner than what normal specs would. The coilover system was supposed to be uniform to an inch lower than oem. These were not cheap coilovers or aligment kits. I spent a total of $1300 on them. Dealing with the employees was even worse. The technicians couldn't even speak english well enough to explain what he was doing. The tech said he tried to get it as close to oem specs as possible. (FL--1.7,FR-1/7) (RR-2.7,RL-2.67) <-- that is not close to oem spec.



So i don't drive the car often and have known it drives unusual and have spent the past couple of months trying to alleviate the problem. I had horrible road noise from my tires after they worked on my car. The driver's side sits lower than the passenger. My gas mileage has suffered. I finally contacted them after i had my wheel dilemma with Discount Tire. I talked to Sam and was very unsatisfied with the way he handled the situation. He was rude and uncooperative. He said i would have to be charged to have the entire process redone. He would not even take into consideration the other shops i had taken it to telling me i needed them to redo this. I was priced much better rates and had a great experience with them by the way. I was so disgusted i hung up on Sam.



DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING.

Important details -- My car is a 2000 C230 with only 47k miles. I was referred to Sam and Joes for repair on my C230 Mercedes Benz by another local garage (they didn't work on MB). After what I experienced I can honestly say DO NOT GO TO SAM AND JOE'S! The problem -- My check engine light came on and after taking my car to Sam and Joe's and over $2200(!) later my car is completely dead in the water. They "worked" on it three different times only to create a short in the electrical system which drained the (new'ish) battery. Now I'm left with an unusable car and a much lighter bank account. If you're looking for a garage that actually knows what they're doing, are honest, and are reliable then do not use Sam and Joe's.
