Crossway Apartments

This business does NOT deserve an A rating for the BBB. I was told I would have a dishwasher supplied but after a month they tell me no. I'm pretty sure they are getting paid by a crooked towing company to have ridiculous towing standards enforced. The towing company they are in kahoots with are rude, highly unprofessional and, treat you like a criminal...but, I digress. My hot water constantly (and suspiciously) shuts off yet, they want more money now. My apartment was not even finished when I moved in. I was told they would come through to finish...I'm still waiting. My cabinets are breaking off of the hinges due to the rust that had accumulated from the last occupants. I could keep going but I've got to go fix something.

I currently live in crossway apartment they're the worst place to live they lie to you to move in tell you that you can park in visitors parking aslong as you have a visitors pass but when you do & your neighbors who park there also complain then the office tries to force you to buy an additional parking sticker a month for $35 or they threaten you that your car would be towed if seen in a visitors parking they write down your plates & give em to the black bull towing idiots who tow cars & damage cars they've towed my car & ripped up my front end & messed up my transmission because office ladies are idiots & write down the wrong date on pass & when your car gets towed because of their mistake & damaged they don't do anything to make it right I really don't recommend these nasty apartments to no one.

I just move 31 june..I am very disappointed, and Iam crying , thay meve in me 31 but still I dont have AC.........me and my kids r sik.and aapartment conditions r really horrible, everything is broken, stove have no number on just blind, I took very wrong decision. Please don't lease this apartment..go some batter place this is okay if u pay some ware else 50 to 100 doller extra thats worth

Worst Place I ever lived in my life. I would not recommend my worst enemy to live here. Please find somewhere else to live. My husband and I just needed a cheap quiet place to live we. we do not complain and try to work around little issues, however this place is rude and very quick to brush off issues. Big issue with RATS. I had a newborn and my husband had to catch each one bc it took 2 months for someone to do something about it. He caught a total of 10. We keep our place clean! they could of cared less about anything. We called the city, filed reports, looked into attorneys etc. That is just one issue, we had many more. NEVER AGAIN. Please read all these reviews, they don't lie! I prayed everyday about this. I cried in joy when we moved out. This place is so disturbing.

Very BAD customer service they just lie to get you to rent to them. they are very rude and never know anything they take days to answer your questions. They never fix anything and when they do even attempt to they try to make you pay for the repairs. They literally take months to just fix anything. The current manager TERESA is a joke never helps, never available.

this apartments are the worst apartments ever they never fix anything and they work with a towing company they give you a new sticker every month for any reason if you don't have the sticker on the car the black bull company will take it and they will charge you 300 dollars they give you visitors passes but you have to change them every 3 days if the office is close and you don't have visitors pass they must leave because their car will get tow the apartments conditions are really bad and the people in the office don't know what they do they only care about your money and im pretty sure they get money from the towing company

I love crossway appts. the newmanagers have really brought the place back to life. Its quite and also maintenace normally gets there the same day if you have issues. Also as long as you keep your arrangements they are really cool about working with you if you fall under hard times. I love them and would recommend them to anyone.

CROSSWAY APARTMENTS are trash no good the managers are useless they take months just to fix the smallest to the biggest thing MONTHS,, I been here 5 years,, they had 3 different owners in just the past 3 years each year they have changed ,, this last year they are doing remodeling an its the end of my lease an still haven't got my remodel an now there trying to raise the price on me ,, an they refuse to give me the owners number ,,,, an they refuse to give me some kind of deal ,, now free months no half price nothing ,, for all they crap they been putting us through,, if anyone has any new way of getting this place in trouble im here an am will to help in any way I can

My family and i recently moved to the Crossway apartments in August 2012, we don't even have a year living here and everything about it is terrible. The staff were rude and the example apartment is way much different then the actual ones. When we first moved in the told us the apartment was going to be ready on a certain date, when that day came we brought all of our stuff and realized that we had no closet doors nor a sink. it took them about three days to finish everything. We have been having so many problems with the A/C and also water heater. a couple of weeks ago we found out we had bedbugs, we went around the complex and asked if they had any similar problems, our front door lady told us that she has been living here for 9 years and all the apartments have been infested with bed bugs for two years now. The manager from here does not help out, and in all honesty people, DO NOT COME LIVE IN CROSSWAY APARTMENTS, THEY ARE HORRIBLE NOT THE APPEARANCE BUT BY ALL OF THE PROBLEMS THAT WE HAVE BEEN HAVING. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME MOVE IN HERE. IT'S RATED NO STARS!!!

Me and my family moved into the Crossway apt. on April 1,2012. This was the worst decision that we had ever made. Crossway employee's and managers told us that the apt was under new management and renovation. After showing me and my fiance a finished apt (we were so excited) the apt. was nice but, it was taken so the Crossway employee told us if we put down a deposit then they would hold a new renovated apt. for us therefore, we could move right in after two month when our previous apt. lease was up. Giving Crossway our TRUST (we paid the deposit). 4 days before moving in I check on the apt in person an spoke with a female property manager at that time who refused to show me the apt stating "I do not have a key to show you the apt". and that she did not know where the key was. The day of moving in (April 1, 2012) it was a the definition of sordid, vile,squalid,filthy and foul. Now if they would had called and informed us on the discrepancy of the apt before we put down the rest of our money we would have made reservations to find a hotel or something. but, no they just took our money and lied to us. Due to us not having any money and no where to go at that time we had to endure this horrific moment. We ask to see the apt.before signing the lease but, the manager did not allow the employee to show us the apt until the lease was signed, now we seen why. The madness did not stop here we had to get code compliance and other authorities involved to protect our tenants right according to state law. Crossway apt. has unlawfully violated our tenants right and will do you the same to you. Crossway apt. has failed due to involuntary and negligence to present to me the rest of my lease agreement and utility addendum. Here are all the violations of the Texas Property code Crossway apt. violated since i resigned there 2308.452, 92.203, 92.0081,92.009,92.201, and 92.52. Crossway EMPLOYEE'S, MANAGERS, and CORPORATE from 2012-2013 needs to be educated on how to maintain Texas Legislature amendments of tenants rights. You better think before moving into Crossway unless you really do not care about you or your family health and safety.

I been here 3 years and think that the new owners and managers are great! They have cleaned up so much trash and I don’t mean the kind the truck takes out! Now that most of the remodeling is done the service is even better! This place is quite and me and my kids like it today!

This place is a dump starting with the owner who has no idea how to run a business like this one wich reflects on his incompetent employees that he hired they are all a big joke that have no idea what the hell tgey are doing. STAY AWAY FROM HERE TO AVOID A TERRIBLE STRAIN ON YOUR FINANCES AND FAMILY!!! Like I said these so called employees and ower are just stealing money from hard working people, they never fix anything it seems like your doing the employees job by having to call or go up to the office for the same reason over and over again. You always get diffrent contradicting answer from everyone in the office. The owner doesn't care about the residents concerns AT ALL! They seem not to keep your any paper work on your file oh and get this the owner is trying to make up the money he spend on all the upgrades wich by the way are TERRIBLE on the roof replacement crappy job done no gutters now wich you have terrible pools of water on you uneven patio, tile floors that has a crappy job as the exterior paint on the buildings. So the owner is bumping ul rents like a maniac if you want to renew your lease you have to fill out a new application, I personally have never done this anywhere else also they will bump up your rent over $100 its outrageous for the crappy apartments. Oh and if your late or owe anything they put the lettr on your door open so anyone can see. SO BE CAREFUL AND DON'T RENT HERE, TAKE THIS AS A LESSON LEARNED AND NOT I MEAN NOT A LESSON BOUGHT LIKE WE DID

At times, Afghanistan is a better choice than these apartments. You can try your luck with the management, but calling code enforcement is usually the only way to get things done. I have lived all over Texas. Those small Texas towns almost always take care of you. But here in the Metroplex, they could care less if you suffer for months without A/C and die. Nobody cares here. NOBODY! Call code enforcement if they give you the run around. You will suffer endlessly and needlessly if you don't.

RIDE RIGHT PASS THIS PLACE.. I WAS TOLD THAT MY APARTMENT WOULD BE MOVE-IN READY BY A CERTAIN DATE BUT WHEN THE DATE GOT HERE IT WAS NOT READY.. SO AFTER ALREADY RENTING A MOVE TRUCK AND WASTING MONEY I HAD TO GET A ROOM FOR MY FAMILY.. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE READY THE FOLLWING DAY BUT GUESS WHAT IT WAS NOT!! SO I WAS SOO PISSED THAT I TOOK MY BEHIND TO THE APARTMENT TO SEE WHAT WAS TAKING SOOO LONG .. tHE APARTMENT WAS TORE UP FROM THE FLOOR UP,, IT WOULD OF TOOK AT LEAST A MONTH TO FIX IT AND NOT ONLY THAT IT WAS WAYYY MUCH SMALLER THAN THE APARTMENT WE HAD PICKED.. I GUESS THEY THOUGHT I WAS DUMB!!! I EVEN HAD MY LIGHTS ON ALREADY AT THE PLACE AND THEY RACKED UP A HUNDRED DOLLAR LIGHT BILL IN MY NAME .. SINCE THEY HAD JUST TURNED THE LIGHTS ON, MY ELECTRIC COMPANY COULD NOT COME OUT TO DISCONNECT THEM UNTIL FIVE DAYS LATER.. I WAS SOO PISSED BECAUSE I CALLED THEM TWICE BEFORE GETIING THE LIGHTS ON AND THEY ASSURED ME THE PLACE WILL BE MOVE-IN READY BY THE 17TH.. SOOO AFTER GETTING TOTALLY PISSED I DEMANDED MY 100 DOLLAR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK AND TOLD THEM I DO NOT WANT TO MOVEIN BECAUSE IT WASNT READY WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD BE.. AND THE FAT BITH IN THE FRONT OFFICE SAID I COULDN'T GET IT BACK.. IM REALLY THINKING ABOUT SUING THESE BITCHES THEY ARE SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL.. I EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT THE MANAGER AND HER RETARDED ARSE DID NOT ANSWER THE PHONE SO I WENT UP THERE AND REQUESTED TO SEE HER AND THEY SAID SHE WAS BUSY(THE nERVE oF tHESE pEOPLE) SO I WENT BACK THERE ANYWAYS THE bUM LOCKED HER DOOR.. do not rent from these bastards they are doing nothing but scamming hard working people out of their money.. ALSO WHEN I WAS UP THERE , THERE WAS A GUY DEMANDING HIS MONEY BACK TOO... I HAD TO RATE IT.. BUT THESES IDIOTS REALLY GETS NO STARS !!!!

I moved into these apartments in February, I am on the list to get my AC fixed, but after a month and a half of waiting, went to the office and asked that someone come out and fix it. I was told someone would be out that day. No one came. Now on five separate occasions I have been told someone would be over to fix it or someone would bring me a window unit for the bedrooms to help with the heat, 95 and over in my place, no one came. Went back yesterday and told them they needed to fix it, it is unbearable, they sent someone, he came while I was at work, told my daughter he had to leave and would be right back, never came back. This morning when I went to the office to find out what happened, they stated they could not enter the unit with only someone under age there. Ok, well it did not stop them when they were caulking, or when they were doing their water conservation fixes, but that only saves them money since we pay a flat rate for water. Drug deals in the parking lot and trash. Stay away.

I moved in to Crossway apt. but was not happy. The manager Adriana who did noting about the problem i had. I was with no AC for over 4 months and till this day there is still no work to be done. I had gone in several times and spoke not only to Adriana but to her empolyes as well. I was told after my 4 visit that there was a waiting list in order to get my AC fix. So I told her my last visit that i wanted to break my contract and that I was willing to pay. So Adriana told me that not only will she not do that but if i wanted to leave i will not be able to rent in any other place but she would charge me every single month untill the apartment was rentable again. I dont work in a apartment complex as a manager but i know that your supost to have a corprote number. I asked for the corprote number and was refused to be givin to me because Adriana said that they did not have one. I DO NOT RECOMAND THESE APARTMENTS BECAUSE OF THE BADLY MANAGEMENT THEY HAVE AND THEY OVER CHARGE YOU FOR ANYTHING!!!! DO NOT RENT ON THIS PROPERTY. do to that they also never got to my bathtub,kitchen sink,vanity,and of coruse my AC.
