General Info: Morse Automotive Corporation is a manufacturer of brake shoes and disc pads. The company supplies its products to many of the largest retail and wholesale distributors in the United States under various private label identities. Brake pad lines produced by the independently owned company include premium, ultra life and an extreme performance line that targets the sports utility market. In addition, the company manufactures a line of ceramic disc pad brakes that are designed to provide a more quiet and clean performance. Headquartered in Chicago the company employs more than 1,500 people. Morse operates seven manufacturing facilities, each one QS 9000 certified, throughout the United States as well as in other countries. It has a branch facility located in Akadelphia, Ark., where it employs nearly 200 people.
