We are moving from our 4700 Sq ft rental rented through a different company because the owner is selling and our lease is soon to be up (wish we could afford to buy it but alas we can't). Set up a viewing with TonsOfFun for 3:30-4PM (confirmed by email, multiple times) to view a house we were interested in (MUCH SMALLER, though not with an incredibly lower rent). My wife took off early from work to view the house. We finally got to the house at 3:45 PM, and lo and behold, no one there. Called TonsOfFun, and they said, well, you didn't call and say you'd be late, so the showing agent left and the property is no longer available to you(their office is JUST AROUND THE CORNER). Ummm....we weren't late, we had a 30 minute window built in. After seeing the other reviews about stolen security deposits, kinda glad it didn't work out.



STAY FAR FAR AWAY from TonsofFun.

Worst experience with a rental company I have ever had. RENTERS BEWARE. They are not honest and will try to tack on fees as much as possible.

You will REGRET renting with this company, I promise! I don't even know where to begin with all the issues we had with them. They are unfriendly, condescending, rude and could care less about their tenants. They only care about the money. They'll be nice and prompt UNTIL you sign the lease. They will keep majority of your deposit, they won't let you be present at walk through which they can take 30 days to even perform. In our nightmare we had to live in the house for 6 weeks during restorations which was illegal and dangerous. There were base boards with nails laying around, open ceilings and walls, no use of kitchen, dining and 2 bedrooms. We have two small children and they could have cared less that they had to live in those conditions, be exposed to workers coming and going for weeks and their safety was at risk. Of course they told us we could have gone to a hotel at our expense not to mention they recommended we keep the dogs in the garage in the freezing temps!!! Google all the reviews from different websites, almost all of them have the same stories! Take our advice and stay away from this company.

Avoid this agency like the plague! They were quite unprofessional. We were moving from out of town to a house that Tonsofrentals.com had listed in Hendersonville, NC. We had previously viewed the hone on an earlier trip, while the previous tenants were still in the house. When we arrived with the moving truck, the house was filthy, and broken glass from a broken light bulb was scattered across the floor of the main living area. The house was not in a livable condition, so we paid the one months rent to use the house as a storage unit, while we found a different house. The staff were self-serving and unprofessional. I strongly recommend not dealing with Tonsofrentals.com or their parent company, IPM-CORP.com. Save yourself the money and the frustration!

In my opinion this has been the worst management company I have dealt with. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They way overcharge for repairs, and charge 10% on top of that. If you need to turn a profit on your rental property, then my suggestion would be to find an alternative management company like I did. There are many options. With my current management company they work hard to maintain costs and look out for their customer. With Tons of Rentals, the more money they can charge on monthly repairs, the more money they put in their pocket. Do your research on this one before signing on the dotted line.
