General Info

Established in 1966, Warehouse Specialists was founded by six forklift drivers from a local paper mill. The company has transformed itself into one of the largest warehousing and distribution firms in North America. With annual movements of more than 25,000 rail cars and 500,000 trucks systemwide, Warehouse Specialists handles a variety of products, which include paper/pulp, equipment, nonfat dry milk and canned goods, consumer goods, computer components and electronics, steel, wood products and chemicals. An original 30,000 square foot warehouse in Combined Locks, Wis., has grown to become a firm with more than 13 million square feet of space. The company consists of 40 facilities with locations throughout North America. Warehouse Specialists has a location in Appleton, Wis.
