I paid for my processing up front $68.00 because that is the way they do it. The price would have been $70.00 but I let them keep the hide for a $2.00 credit. I dropped off two deer so the total I paid up front was $136.00. When it came time to pick up my Venison I was told I owed $21.45 more. When I asked why, I was told it was because I wanted my bulk trim back and they had wrapped it. All I wanted, was to process my own trim into sausage at a later date, they did say I would receive the $21.45 credit back on the bill if I had them process the trim into sausage. The problem is that they should have told me that up front, because I planed to make my own sausage. The point is not that I'm making my own sausage but that if they wanted to be paid up front then disclose the whole price, to wait until after they have processed the two deer I felt trapped. Even their web page makes no mention of this.
