Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Depending on skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine, and aftercare these beautiful new brows can last 1-3 years.

While we are always evolving and growing with the piercing industry, our shop mainly focuses on standard body piercings avoiding extreme modifications and advanced surface piercings. If you have any questions regarding a specific piercing, please contact the shop so we can discuss what is recommended.

Tanning Beds
You are responsible for your brows once you leave! Please keep them clean! Once you leave, gently cleanse them with clean hands and a gentle fragrance free soap, pat dry, and apply a very thin layer of After Inked lotion. Try to get 3-5 cleanses in before bed. I can provide you with Phi Patches if you require/request. These will help keep out moisture and germs. For the first week try and keep the brow area from getting soaked or wet for any extended amount of time. Avoid sweating, steam, and tanning beds. No makeup, masks, creams (other than After Inked lotion) or other skin treatments. After the first week avoid extended time in the sun, tanning beds, and aggressive skin treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, light therapy, and anti-aging products that contain fruit acids or regeneration factors. You can begin to wear sunscreen. Always avoid laser treatments as this can destroy pigment and cause burns.

Chemical Peel
Depending on skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine, and aftercare new brows can last 1-3 years. (Wear sunscreen, avoid exfoliation and chemical peels, avoid skincare products that encourage cellular renewal. Oily skin does not retain pigment as well as dryer skin).

Kyndall Cramer is our PhiBrows certified PMU specialist here at Lucky Bird Tattoo. PMU, or Permanent Makeup, is an art of light-depth cosmetic tattooing to enhance one’s appearance. Kyndall is extremely knowledgable with skin care and makeup application from prior professional training through esthetican school. She prides herself on her diligence and attention to detail and loves being able to help accentuate her clients’ beauty.
