I have to agree with the previous review. This company scammed me too and I have never been late on a payment, I have financed two cars and never again will I pay Kensington another dime after I pay off my current loan in February 2012. The first loan was when I was recently separated and had not established credit in my own name. Kensington is linked to Fitzgerald Auto Mall and I purchased my cars through the Wheaton Dodge dealership. After a year of paying I traded in my first car for a car I really wanted.



I made the mistake of buying the second car on a Friday night. The dealership claimed the only bank they could get an approval for was Kensington. I signed the papers and drove home the same night. After a week I received an acceptance letter from Chrysler at a 4.9% rate and for 48 months. Kensington approved me at 16.9% for 72 months. I am pissed and this is 5 years later. The manager at Fitzgerald acknowledged the bait and switch but I shad already signed.



They also misplace payments. Claim that you are messing up your account if you pay early. The staff is smaller than 12 and they tend to know who you are when you call (or at least pretend they do). They are rude even when you've never been late. I have had up to $1500 in over payments on my account and they complain about that. If you want to sue this company please contact me at nybroadus@yahoo.com I would love to get back some of the money they scammed me out of. Class action lawsuit!
