Dr. Reed was insensitive to my 2 1/2 year old energetic boxer, and was abrupt in snapping at me for not handling my dog while waiting in the exam room. She jumped up on the door (while waiting for the Dr for 20 min over scheduled appointment) in excitement and anxiety in hearing other dogs outside the room. You expect a vet office to be use to all kinds of dogs and be more tolerate and supportive vs. harshly snapping at their clients. It just made the appointment uncomfortable once the Dr finally came in for the check-up. After having multiple dogs cared for at this location for several years, you would think he and the staff would be more supportive and understanding. Do not recommend this location after I had to return after that experience -- and the staff was not pleasant and made my dog and I more anxious.

Had my second visit at this vet office. The first time was with Dr. Reed. He was very kind and attentive to my dog and me. I had put her through some very rigorous testing at UC Davis and had just moved to Annapolis when her stomach began to act up again.

I gave him her history which includes many years of failed attempts to diagnose and treat her stomach troubles. She was finally sort of diagnosed at UCD, with IBD, though they wanted to do more tests that were much more invasive. I declined and changed her diet.

Dr. Reed gave her a full exam, drew blood for some additional tests that UCD, surprisingly, had not done and said he thought I should try her on a diet with a protein that she was unlikely to have had before. We did it and her stomach was back to normal within DAYS!!!

I now live in Baltimore and after trying out a vet here I decided my pet's care was better trusted to the Annapolis Animal Hospital. So, I travel an hourishb to see this vet and his colleague, Dr. Sajadian.

They barely gave me any information at all. Dr Reed was inhumane to my pet!!! My pet was treated horribly and I had to get her away from Dr Reed! Please beware of this Vet! I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left, plus I was charged for a visit and now I have to go to another vet and pay again! Do not go to this Vet!! Dr Reed crouched in the corner, in the exam room, and looked as though he was having a break down.. Very strange man... RUN, don' walk away from here!!
