A hidden gem! You'd never know it was there unless you were looking for it. Great environment, clean, nice people, and very cozy too. Audrey was very nice - she really listened to what I wanted and took her time giving me the perfect color and cut!

Jennie has cut my hair twice now and done a fantastic job. She was so professional and very personable. Everyone I've met there has been so friendly and polite. I will definitely recommend this salon to anyone who asks.

Yes, that was the best place to get you hair done. I loved it! Audrey did my hair and I have been looking for a new hairdresser for a long time now and I finally found it. I was so happy with their service and Audrey was so nice and did exactly what I wanted to my hair. It was comfortable and they waited on me hand and foot. I will be going there from now on. I can finally settle on a new place to get my hair done.

I have seen Audrey twice in the last couple months. The first time I received a partial highlight and a haircut, the second time I used my Groupon and got a full highlight and a deep conditioning treatment. Audrey is very nice and listened to my concerns and what I was looking for in my color and cut. She did an amazing job picking out a new lowlight for me. I absolutely LOVED the color and she did an awesome job on my cut (adding layers). The salon is very clean and all of the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the Polished Edge Salon.

I bought the Groupon and had a horrible experience!!!! All the stylist (Safa) did was ask me what Groupon package I purchased which was highlights, cut, and conditioning treatment and asked me if I wanted anything else, and I did not. She did not ask me what I wanted to get done at all, but just began mixing up the color for the highlights. I tried to show her a picture when she got back to show her what I was looking for, but she barely looked at the picture and just stated that she just did the same thing with a previous client and it looked great. She applied the highlights and then put me under the dryer. She then started applying color to another client and left me under the dryer for almost 45 MINUTES! Not once did she come to check how the color was processing or see how I was doing. I have been getting my hair colored for years and I have never been under the dryer with BLEACH on my hair for so long or had any stylist not come back periodically to check how the color was processing. The result, is that my hair is definitely damaged and I can see where breakage occurred! She finally finished with the other client and then shampooed my hair and applied the "deep conditioning" treatment, which I expected to have been left on the hair for some time, but instead it was washed out immediately afterward like any normal conditioner. She then did not even ask how I wanted my hair to be cut, but I interrupted her before she could begin and told her that I did not want very much cut off and was only looking for a trim. The end result was ok, but the service from the stylist was TERRIBLE! I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone. The receptionist was nice and I saw another stylist whose client's hair turned out well, so this is not to insult the other stylists or the establishment in general. But bottom line I paid $45 for a "$145 value" and in my opinion I got less than what I actually paid for. I am seriously shocked that anyone would pay $145 for the services that I received!!

I bought the Groupon and had a wonderful experience, Audrey did a wonderful job with the highlights. She was very sweet and professional. Clean and relaxing environment. I would take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. You buy a Groupon to a salon to try the place out, you're not sure what you're going to get that's why people stay with the same hair stylist! I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

Horrible haircut and customer service. My stylist cut it 3 inches shorter than I asked for, and it was extremely uneven. I went back to have it fixed, but my stylist saw no problem. She refused to fix it, and the owner supported this. I went to another salon, and they had to take another inch off just to even out the back.

This place is great! Everyone is so friendly and it's such a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely check out Audrey for your hair and Cheryl for your nails, they're both great at what they do.

Personally I have been having her do my hair for 25 years and wouldn't trust anyone else! The salon is nice too.

I am suprised by the negative reviews. I have been going to this salon for a while now and love it. The staff is wonderful and always make you feel welcome and relaxed. This salon has a very relaxing and inviting atmosphere that I highly recommend.

I did not find this salon to be as great as all the reviews either. This use to be Safa's and as far as I can tell it is the same. I got my nails done and they even found a way to mess that up. Stay away

I went to this site to write a good review and I was very suprised with the negative reviews, because when I went to this salon I had the best brazillan wax I have ever had from safa. I would Defintaly recomend this salon :}

I'm not too sure where houseman5 is coming from on this review...this salon is great!! Dirty?? It is actually one of the cleanest I've ever been in. It is so nice to walk into a place where everyone is genuinely happy to see you. This salon has a great atmosphere - I look forward to each and every visit. I would definitely recommend trying this one out for yourself – you won’t be disappointed.

I read the reviews and I was very suprised with the negative ones, i have been a client of this salon since it opened, and I have found it to be one of the cleanest and friedly salons that I have ever been to. In fact I have never had a hair dresser go out of their way for me like safa has! I would highly recomend this salon!

Just tryed this one, I'm always up for somthing new. I did not find it to be dirty I however do not find it to be one of your better salons in Ann Arbor. My cut was just ok and for the money I want better than ok.

the people where so nice and my hair looked GREAT! I also got my nails done. It was very clean and very friendly! You should absolutely try it out!!

this was the worst salon I have ever been to dirty and very rude people. The owner Cheryl was very rude, don't try not worth it.
