Can't say enough good things about them - We have used Paws and Claws for over 10 years (they used to be called Arbor Hills Pet Care). We won't take our dogs anywhere else. Kathy, Amanda and Dan take the time to get to know each animal - paying attention to their particular needs and behaviors. Now that they are doing home pet sitting, we are even more pleased with their services. The daily rate is great for 3-5 visits each day and our dogs get to stay in their own environment. But when they get a new facility, we will still use them!

My dog came home happy. She loved the people caring for her.

Our shy dog Daisy loves coming here. Kathy and family are so kind and attentive, but most of all they are trustworthy. We've been bringing our dogs here for years and not one problem. Daisy doesn't even come home smelling like a kennel!

Paws and Claws is the only place my dog actually enjoys going to! The staff is great and take excellent care of our dog! Their prices can't be beat and either can their service. It is nice to know we can go out of town and not have to worry about how our dog is doing! Highly recommended!!

It's clean, the animals spend a lot of time outdoors, the price is very reasonable, and the staff obviously love what they do. Highly recommended.

The staff at Paws & Claws genuinely seem to care for our brutish beast. They clearly love being around animals and have a creative environment to keep the dogs engaged.

We have been taking our dogs to Paw and Claws for many years now. It is VERY clean and the staff truly cares about the animals. Our dog always returns home happy and healthy. It is located 25 miles from our house but it is definitely worth the drive. I highly recommend Kathy and her staff!

You can feel good about leaving your dog here and enjoy your trip knowing they are in good loving hands! My dog has been going to this kennel for 10 years and still gets excited and runs in the door. Thanks to the wonderful caring staff! You are appreciated for all you do.

You guys are awesome. I have used you for over 4 years and have nothing but good things to say. My only suuggestion would be to expand your Sunday pickup hours a bit more.

We have been using this kennel for our English Setter for the past 7 years! We love it. Amanda, Kathy & Dan are kind and very professional. They truly seem to love our dog and they are very creative at making the outdoors play environment fun for the dogs in the summer. I especially like that it is always clean.

Ginger loves coming here, its like a vacation for her too! She is always well behaved when I pick her up! This is a great place to board your dog, no doubt & no guilt in leaving her behind!

We've taken our Boxer mix here for the past few years and we love it. You absolutely can't beat the price, and it's great that the dogs have the indoor/outdoor run so they can get fresh air.



You can tell the staff here really care about the animals and we feel very comfortable leaving our dog here. We know she's in good hands.

I just can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. I have boarded my dogs at other kennels in & around ann arbor and this place is tops by far. If they had a 10 star rating they would get it hands down. Some other places I've boarded with always try to charge you extra for - This - That - & the other Thing or they make you feel Guilty like you should buy one of their up-grade care packages - what a ( Joke ) This place has one ( Low Price ) and you get it all. When I first boarded with them, I received free boarding & baths for my 3 dogs and they still have more offers for free boarding. My dogs get to go on Nature Walks - How cool is that? - you don't get that in the city. This place sits in the country and my dogs & I love getting out from the city. When you walk into this place, you can't help to notice the hundreds of other families pet pictures up on their walls - thats true ( Testimony ) on the care they give. When I met this family I could tell they truely had ( Hearts ) of ( Gold ) and they really do ( LOVE ) all animals. I will be telling everyone I know about this place and now I know why? they have been Voted #1. This place is like the ( Little Known Secret ).

Our dog loves to go to Paws n Claws. We can tell she loves it there because she wags her tail and gets happier the closer we get to the kennel. We can't even mention to her that she is going to go there until we are ready to take her or she will go to the garage and wait to get in the car as soon as we mention it. She is also happy when we pick her up and is always clean. The staff is excellent! We know she is well taken care of and would, and have, recommended Paws 'n Claws to others.

There is nothing more calming and peaceful than knowing my pets are being well taken care of when i'm away on business/vacations! My wife and I have a 2 yr. old Golden Retriever and 9 month old corgi. After boarding them @ Paws & Claws with Amanda, Kathy and Dan, we won't go anywhere else! I have taken my dog's to numerous kennels before and have gotten nothing but bad experiences. Its very hard to find a kennel that is affordable ( because I have two dogs ) but yet will really take care of our pets as if they were right at home without overcharging. We love the country setting and the fenced in outdoor yard they have for our dogs to run around in! The staff there is wonderful, welcoming and very knowledgeable about dogs and cats! They really take the time to find out what your pets likes/dislikes are. If anyone is looking for a kennel that is affordable but comes with all the amenities your pets should get while your away then check out PAWS & CLAWS! We will definitely recommend them to all of our friends!

I have been taking my cats there for four years. The staff is amazing, they are very nice and knowledgeable. They are family owned and run so they really treat you and your pet as part of their family! They have a cat room where each cat gets to spend time in to play and relax. My cats always receive a ton of attention daily for FREE! I tried taking my cats to Karnik once before to try out the new facility and they wanted to charge me for every 10min of attention they spent with my pets! Attention I wouldn't even know for sure they were getting! Not to mention their pricing was obscene! But at Paws and Claws the pricing is awesome (I haven't been able to find anyone that has lower pricing) and they have no hidden charges which I love. I don't own a dog, but I know if I did I would definitely take them here as well, because they are in the country so they get to go outside everyday and have a huge yard to play. I have also seen them taking the dogs for walks by the pond that's behind the kennel. I highly recommend this place for anyone who cares about there pet!

I've used many kennels to board my dogs. Once I discovered Paws and Claws I have used them exclusively. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My dog is always excited to visit. He never has the "kennel" smell when his is picked up. It is clear to me that he is well taken care of and given the proper attention. Knowing that he is in good care while I'm away is very comforting. I would recommend Paws and Claws to anyone looking for a kennel.
