Fantastic!



One of the last locally owned pharmacies. They have dealt with their share of issues, but have always been up front and honest about various issues with insurance companies (Blue Cross dropping them). Their friendly staff takes the time to make sure us costumers are satisfied.

My mom is 88 years old. She likes this pharmacy because it's near her home. She thought they were using her prescription drug plan (Blue Cross) to help pay for her prescriptions. She has just found out that, after paying for the coverage for several years, that Wenk's does not accept Blue Cross prescription drug coverage. So she's been paying for the insurance and paying full price for her drugs. The pharmacy employees at Wenk's Pharmacy never made it clear to her that they weren't using her insurance to cover part of the drug cost.
