Dr. Jeffrey Alan Mathison, MD

My family and I have been going to Dr. Mathison for 16 years. He is an exceptional man and doctor. I trust this man with my life as well as my childrens lives. He has not ever steered me wrong in our health care. His staff is caring and devoted. Very personable people, they always know who we are when we need to call. He is a very busy man and will still find the time to spend with you if you need the extra few minutes during your appointment. I have never felt rushed in his presence like you do with most doctors, they always look like they are ready to run out the door and not share any information with you. Dr. Mathison is always willing to give you any information you need on anything or any condition. Always has answered any question I or my kids have had. He treats my kids with the utmost respect and care. He is very thorough and they love him.

He really is a nice guy, and someone you may want to have lunch with, but find another doctor if you want someone who really cares about your health. They are rarely in the office and when they are, they don't even have call waiting or an answering service. You will be greeted with a busy signal more than 90% of the time, and the office staff is not well organized at all. Dr. Mathison does not stay up on the current medical treatments so be prepared to diagnose yourself and then suggest it to him since he will not do it himself. He also will overlook obvious symptoms and not remind you if you need to have a periodical test, like a colonoscopy.



Find someone who really is proactive for you, and not just to get by.

Dr Mathison and his staff provide wonderful care.They are also extremely compasionate and caring people,not just there about the almighty dollar! I feel very fortunate to have them caring for me and my family.
