Trail Ridge Air

Hello Everyone,



My wife and I want to take the time to express our thanks to Jim & Lori Jensen for a very pleasant flightseeing tour experience on April 18, 2008. We arrived in Achorage on April 17th, after checking into our motel we decided to locate Trail Ridge Air to see what was available for a flightseeing tour. We met with Jim Jensen, the owner, and he explained the different aircraft available along with the pricing for the time of year we are there. Prices vary according to aircraft and time of year. We were able to book a flight for April 18th at 10:30 AM that same day.



Arriving the next day for our flight, we were both amazed that Jim had already pre-flighted the aircraft and within minutes we were aboard and taxiing for the runway; on skiis even for the lake was still frozen over. I have personally flown last year in a float plane and what an experience....WOW. This was my first on skiis and my wife's second time in a small aircraft, still unsure of everything.



We took off from Lake Hood and headed due east of Anchorage where we flew in amongst the snow capped peaks, over glaciers and lakes. Spotted game along the route and returned back to Anchorage from the northeast.



Jim gave us the grand tour with vast knowledge acquired over 30 years of living in Alaska. After returning from our tour, my wife was ready to go again, Jim is very professional in all respects, friendly and knowledgeable. He is a fantastic pilot with an excellent gound crew. Their aircraft are well maintained and very clean inside and out.
