I’ve never dealt with Pet Emergency, until the day after Christmas. My beloved Bailey had been diagnosed with cancer right after Thanksgiving. The day after Christmas she took a turn for the worse and we ended up at Pet Emergency, where I had to make the decision to have her euthanized. The entire staff was compassionate, kind and treated Bailey and my family as though we were part of their family. A week later, I received a condolence card, with each member of the clinic writing a personal note. It was a class act, and I am so thankful that we were allowed to be with Bailey and that she was taken care of by people who genuinely cared.

Do not take your bird to this place. They are not experienced with avian care and, in my case, even allow your bird to die away from you and not tell you anything is wrong until after the fact. My bird went to this vet because it was late at night and my regular vet was closed. She had suddenly started coughing and losing her voice after I had given her medicine, but seemed to be recovering when I was on the way to the place. I sat in the car with her for a minute or two even wondering if she needed to go inside. She was breathing well again, only with a slight wheeze, but rapidly, so I decided that just to make sure I would take her inside. They took her away from me as soon as I got in to give her oxygen. Which is standard for bird's with respiratory issues. It was less than ten minutes later that a tech came out and said the doctor would be out with me shortly. She told me that they had just done a physical exam of my bird and that she would be out in a moment to speak with me. A few minutes later, the doctor comes into the room and just says straightly, "Your bird has passed away." I was in utter shock. I tried to ask what had happened, why they had not said anything, but the answers she gave were quick and vague. I asked to see my bird, and she agreed. It took them another five minutes to bring out her body. The doctor then just up and left, and I never saw her again. After all this I was charged 100 dollars. I'm afraid that the doctor mishandled my already stressed bird because the only thing I could get out of her was that after she had looked at my bird she put her back in her cage and she then started having breathing problems again and died within a few seconds. I'm really afraid they did not tell me the full story. I lost my best friend. I feel that in better care, she would still be with me. Please keep your avian friends away from this place.

Don't go here. Vet will threaten you with calling animal control if there is anything wrong with your dog. Dogs weight is fine, is his condition life threatening? No.
We paid for the medication he needed right then and there, including anti biotic and pain meds.
BUT!
If you don't get a procedure that might cost $1000 this week, they will call animal control.

Don't pay your rent, don't feed your kids. Get dog surgery, less than a week notice.

Yet it's not life threatening, and he just got pain meds.....

Ok crazy people.....

Thank you very much for your positive review! What was it exactly that made us stick out as the best? Was it our friendly and compassionate staff? Our great location? Was your pet purring or barking their happiness when you left?
