        Yossi Klement has served as Associate Principal Trumpet with the Jerusalem Symphony, Substitute Principal with the Israel Sinfonietta, Principal with the Jupiter Symphony at Lincoln Center, Principal with the New York Metamorphoses Orchestra and Principal with the Lyric Mountain Festival Orchestra, also performed with the Israel Philharmonic, the Berlin Ballet and many ballet and opera orchestras in New York and abroad. He appeared frequently in concert on television and radio and can be heard on recordings of the Israel Philharmonic and the Jerusalem Symphony, among other ensembles. He has performed under the batons of conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel, Stanislaw Skrowacewski, Michael Tilson Thomas, Gerard Schwarz, Mendi Rodan, Sergiu Commissiona, Gary Bertini, Jens Nygaard, and may others. He was on the faculty of the Rubin Academy and Conservatory of Music, and taught at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Deerfield Academy. Many of his students have won regional, national and international competitions. and have gone on to successful performing careers

        Yossi Klement has been my son'...

        Yossi Klement has been my son's trumpet instructor for 5 years. Our experience has been extremely positive. Yossi is an incredible musician who works well with students, no matter what their musical level. My son was a 10 year old beginner when he started private lessons with Yossi. Yossi was patient, encouraging and always enthusiastic. By the time my son was in High School Yossi was also coaching him in a small group brass ensemble with members of varying levels of experience with their instrument. Yossi was very effective with the ensemble, bringing each student along as well as the group as a whole.



        Yossi is a wonderful teacher and a wonderful musical influence for young people. It has been a pleasure to watch him work together with my child.
