Write in Style

I worked with Barry at Write in Style and had a great experience! While they are not the cheapest, they helped us so much along the way it was worth paying a little extra. Barry and his wife really gave us direction with invitation etiquette and we will return for our menus and table cards! I was a little nervous about the turn around time but to my surprise they got the invitations returned and envelopes printed two weeks early!

I visted Write in Style this past weekend and all I can say is I would never give the women (owner) a red cent. She was very rude when I told her my budget for invitations. She looked at me as though I wasn't worthy to shop there. Then, she said customers are not allowed to view the invitation books, without her assistance. Seriously? You expect me to spend hundreds of dollars with you, but you don't trust me with a sample book? Give me a break. Very rude, untrusting, dated and short tempered. It was worse than buying a car. If I have a question, I'll ask - otherwise, leave me alone to browse and search. I would not suggest you purchase anything there. On the flip side, I loved the Parchment on Sand Lake Road, Orlando - management was extremely nice and let me have my time to review in peace. In additon, they had a much broader array of samples. Whatever you do, don't go there. The snark associate (who I later learned was the owner), reluctantly showed us the invitations we wanted to see, after insinuating that she could not afford the ones that she was interested in. We sat down and began browsing. My friend asked for invitations in a specific color. The manager informed her that color did not matter, she didn't need it to match, and then left. Feeling a little lost at the fact that we had asked for help, and he had refused to give us any, we continued looking. Finally, we found something she told me she loved. I was talking about how much I liked it, when the manager proceeded to reappear to inform me, and I quote, "it's not your wedding, now is it?" We left immediately. He insulted my best friend, and he insulted me (if he would have been observant, he would have noticed a ring on my finger). And now I know where I won't be going to get my invitations, and neither should you.
