Oasis Restaurant

I have been dining at the Oasis Restaurant for years and have always enjoyed decent food for a reasonable price. This afternoon I was sadly disappointed when I brought a group of my clients from a local nursing facility over for an ice cream treat. Our clients waited on our van with our volunteers while two co-workers and I went inside to place our order. We arrived around 2:30 pm and the restaruant had a few booths full, however they were certainly not overwhelmed with customers. I wrote down the order for the waitress so that it was organized and easy to prepare. We wanted to order 9 small cups of ice cream. The waitress was less than thrilled to see us at the ice cream counter and let the whole restaurant know it. "The person who scoops ice cream is not here yet and I'm waiting tables." She hollered to every other waitress in the restaurant to see if they could assist her with this overwhelming task we presented to her. When someone came over to assist she dramatically declared "I HAVE to make 10 cups of ice cream!!". When their challenge was completed we returned to our van to find hair in one of our cups. The waitress was apologetic and gave us a new scoop. I'm sad to say we will not be returning to the Oasis any time soon.
