Kia of Alhambra

I brought my Kia Sedona, 2008 to Kia Alhambra for Recall's an mirrors and side doors, that weren't properly responding to the interior buttons or the key buttons. I received an estimate for $953.75 for three parts, which I prepaid per Alhambra's policy.



A week later they wanted another $1,847.19 in parts. At this point nothing was repaired including the recalls.



I had the Van towed to Kia of Glendale. Two boxes of parts were in the car.



I had called Bruce Speer the Service Manger and received his personal attention when I arrived. Bruce had Edwin, Kia Glendale, top service tech, check out my Van. It took 10 minutes for Edwin to identify the problems and explain what parts were needed. I picked up my Van the next morning. Everything was repaired and the total cost was $579.73, which included a new battery.



(Glendale re-installed the old (original) computer module and it worked properly...the overhead switch and light assy. had been damaged, when it was removed for diagnosis. A latch & Actuator assy. was paid for and never installed.)



Bruce Speer, included at the bottom of the Kia Glendale invoice, a personal note that suggested that I return the parts, I paid for at Alhambra, that were not needed and receive refund . He also called the Alhambra Service Manager and left a message which was not returned.



I called Naomi the Service Manager the next day, explained the situation and was advised that she would return my call "directly" after talking with Bruce. No call back received.



I contacted Kia's Customer Service Dept. and "regional" and was completely blown off, to the point of almost being mocked. I have never had a customer service rep. call me "my friend".



Small Claims is the only course I have. Thankfully, with the note, from Bruce, and another note from Edwin re: the unnecessary parts I paid for at Kia Alhambra, I hope to have a slam dunk.
