ProtectedLogic Corporation offers design and manufacturing services for low volume products applied to Government and commercial applications. The business model focuses on developing specialized electronic, electro-mechanical, optical and control systems. The company does consulting, design and fabrication on embedded systems that are targeted for environments that require immunity to high temperatures, mechanical shock, vibration, and radiation. ProtectedLogic Corporation develops software and hardware implemented in the primary design languages including VHDL, C, C++, and assembly. An even higher level if embedding capabilities are offered by implementing designs using soft cores and special hardware configured in FPGAs and ASICs. ProtectedLogic recently completed the development of the Laboratory Digital Imager Timing Certification System ( LabDITCS ) that is used to measure and quantify timing for high speed imaging systems as well as quantify video transmission delays. This unit is primarily intended for applications that correlate and analyze data taken from multiple imagers to determine position and velocity information in a post processing step. By including the timing corrections obtained using the LabDITCS, the overall post processing analysis position and velocity data errors are significantly reduced. The system uses GPS and/or local timing networks ( IRIG-B, IRIG-A and NASA36 ) to facilitate interfacing to the local customer timing systems.
