Overall
Poor quality of care

I gave them one star, which was for the pleasant, helpful office receptionists. I have had two bad experiences at this facility. On my first visit I spent 20 minutes listening to the Physician's Assistant complain about how she makes a fraction of what the doctors make and she's just as smart and knows more than they do. Not appropriate conversation with a sick patient. I was there to be diagnosed and treated. On my second visit I had an appointment and still had to wait for an hour after the scheduled time to be seen. I came in with swollen ankles and the PA, who did no examination, told me it was likely heart failure and she referred me to a cardiologist. Even though I asked many questions, she left no possibility that it could be caused by something else; so, needless to say, I left frightened. I followed up with the cardiologist, but the PA's referral had not left them enough information to determine whether my case should be reviewed and I should be seen. At that point, frustrated, I contacted my PCP, who thoroughly examined me, asked me a multitude of questions, did blood work and determined I do not have heart failure. She was quite surprised that the PA left me with no other possibilities of diagnoses. This led me to this conclusion: I do not agree with the first PA regarding her statements that PAs are as skilled as MDs. Although I'm sure there are many good ones, they don't seem to be located at this facility. I will not be returning. I suggest you do the same unless you have something very simple, like sniffles. They might be able to handle that.
