This is one great business. I usually take my dog to a kennel when I have to leave for a business trip. But, the last time Bailey was there she had a bad experience with the other dogs. One dog tried to attack her. Needless to say I wasn't about to put my baby in another kennel. I had my nephew or my niece look after her but having teenagers trying to be responsible was hard. I had to call them constantly to make sure they took Bailey out for potty time and walks, made sure she had enough food and to give her a bath. It actually made me more anxious to be away from her.



Then I found Avalon. Thank the good Lord!!! Not only did I talk to the owner. She assured me that it would be better for Bailey to stay home (where she is familiar). But, that there would be really no changes in her daily routine. She took her out for walks, played with her. Made sure she was fed and watered. She even turned on some of my lights at night. The only problem was when I got home Bailey didn't know who I was (just kidding).



Avalon has great rates and the owner is super nice. She really is an animal lover. She and I chatted for a bit and it seems as though she's like the female version of Dr. Doolittle. She told me she has two dogs and three cats. Now if she can take care of that menagerie then she could take care of my baby.

My dog had just come home from surgery when a family emergency happened, and I had to fly out of town the next morning.

I called Avalon, and told them about my problem. The lady said they were completely booked for the next two weeks, but she would talk to the owner, and see if they could help. A few minutes later, they called back to get my address, and said they could send a care giver over this afternoon to meet me and King.

The care giver that arrived was the owner herself. She was so nice, and really professional.



I have to admit, I was concerned about leaving King and my home in the hands of a complete stranger, but everything was great when I came home. King was happy and healing just fine, and my home was just as I left it. She even picked up a package for me at the post office that I forgot about in all the confusion.



Thanks Avalon! I'll definitely be using you again for my vacations.

I have 2 dogs & 2 cats and I travel twice a month for business. I don't like kennels, so my neighbor used to watch them for me, but she's not an animal lover.



Then I found Avalon....WHAT A FIND!!!! Their prices are very reasonable, and my babies have never been happier! They took care of my house and even watered my plants when I forgot about them.



I'll never use anyone else again!
