        Established in 1982, Albany Medical Center is a health sciences center in the northeastern New York. Based in Albany, N.Y., he Center incorporates the 651bed Albany Medical Center Hospital, Albany Medical College and Albany Medical Center Foundation Inc. The center provides a range of specialty and subspecialty programs and it serves as the major referral center for the area's 3.5 million residents.
