Albany Open MRI

Horrible just horrible. There is NOTHING open about this MRI, Went for a brain scan. Same little torture chamber metal shoot (table) that puts you into a tube , that locks your head into a cage and has the machine a half inch from your nose. Staff does not prepare you at all for the test other than do a metal check and tell you to lay still. ZERO concern for comfort, warmth, or emotional support. Because I was not prepared it caused a panic attack and I could not even begin the test. OF course the staff told me that this was the only way to get the test done (it's not) and were more than happy to have me freak out and walk away. Thanks to them what is already an anxiety provoking illness and needed test they've now made it ten times worse. NOT PATIENT CENTERED AT ALL. STAY AWAY!
