Children's Medical Group

My daughter has seen Dr D'Avello since birth in 2004 and we have never had an issue with her care. She has never rushed us through an appointment or made us feel like our concerns weren't important. Every doctor at this practice has been kind and attentive. This practice is among the best. They are highly recommended and all my family and friends take their children there. I love this group and will be sad when we move.

Other reviewer must be crazy! Dr. Vargo and every other pediatrician in the practice is outstanding. I could not be happier. Chose this group after 9 recommendations from friends. I feel like I am listened to and respected and my kids love their doctor!

My son was born 6 weeks early, so I asked the NICU nurses for the name of a pedi with lots of experience with premature children. I was given the name of Dr. DAvello. My son was her patient from 2005 until 2009. I do believe that my son got sick after EVERY visit to the office. The office does appear to be clean but I do not think it is up to current standards. Threre is only one waiting room, sick children are left in the large waiting room (rather than moved to a smaller room to isolate the germs.) The office staff is constantly changing but with one consistent factor, they are all mean and project that onto the patients, families and people calling the office. When my son was born I knew little about mercury and shot posioning. I trusted the doctors at this office to do the right thing. Instead they gave my son multiple shots that arent even recommended let alone required. They gave many hard to process shots together in the same visit. When i became more informed about the issue. The doctors and nurses treated me like a crazed mother standing in between them and their job. I have moved my son to a family practice, The Copley Medical Group. I would not recommend anyone ever using The children's medical group. And if anyone is considering delayed vaxing to avoid this office like the plague.
