Compulsive Salon

This review is for eyelash extensions. After going to Stacey at Compulsive for a full set of lashes and multiple follow-ups every two weeks, I decided to go for a consultation with another salon. The reason for this was I thought it could be done better. The lash specialist at the other salon stated that she could not fix my lashes and they would need to be removed. Now, I need to wait a few weeks to get a full set applied because my lashes need to get stronger. Here was the problem with my extensions at Compulsive. The glue didn't dry which left big lumps and some lashes crossed due to this. Instead of Stacey applying lashes to one section of the eye at a time, Stacey from Compulsive did one whole eye at a time. Stacey should have started with the outside corner on one eye and then do the outside corner of the other eye. Then she should have done the middle of one eye and done the middle of they other eye. The reason for this is to give time for the glue to dry. Instead, each eye was done so quickly, the glue did not have time to dry. Also, the width of the eye lash was too wide. I have thin lashes so Stacey should have known what width eyelash to use. The other thing that bothered me is the feel of the lash. They felt plastic and not at all natural. I am not sure if the lashes were from Nova Lash. Stacey may have used a cheaper lash. The price charged for the full set was cheap and the follow-up visit for maintenance was also cheap. The old saying comes to mind "you get what you pay for". I would rather pay more money and have them done right.
