Texas Roadhouse

I do not live in Abilene I was visiting my children. I have been to this Roadhouse three times in the last 2 years. I will not visit it again. The last 2 times we went the service was absolutely horrendous. We did not get the food we ordered. We did not get our appetizers at all. Sat there for 30 minutes before we even got salads. We were not asked how our service was we did not get any relief on our check for bad service.

food sucked sides were old staff at front did not say thank you come back again too busy playing around only thing good was the sweet tea and my server

Heavenly experiences does not even begin to desrcibe the time I spent dining at TEXAS RD HOUSE. The atmosphere was just as advertised through word of mouth home cooking at resturant quality. This at first was just what i heard from people that worked there of course they were going to give their place a good rating and then some. There is nothing like putting your money were your mouth is and asking some one to prove it!!!! Best bet i ever lost. The steak was cooked to perfection medium with a slight pink center and the steak cut was excellent no grissle and jsut enough fat to perfect on the already perfect seasoning. I ordered my favorite steak NEW YORK STRIP with all the trimmings. House salad, mashed taters and green beans.Felt like i stepped back in time or like I was dreaming I HD lol. To top off the evening I had a TEXAS PEACH TEA. Thanks RD HOUSE crew for the expierence. Whomever said you can never go home again was wrong maybe not physically, but they gave me mental well a nastolgic expierence.......

I ordered the single pork chop with loaded baked potato and caesar salad. The pork chop was a good inch thick or more and cooked to perfection. Very juicy. Everyone wanted what I had. I will definitely order this again!

The food at the Texas Roadhouse is top of the line! Their rolls with honey-butter that they serve with them are AWESOME!
