Dakota Tree Company, LLC

First this company came and gave an estimate…I asked if they are comparable in price to other tree services in the area…they said "yes, you might find some cheaper but it takes them months to get it done and they would come back in 2 weeks…"they took my name and phone number to call before they came. Six weeks later they still hadn't showed up so I got another service to give me an estimate which was $300 less than Dakota Tree's quote and they were coming the following week while in town doing other work. Well…while I was gone Dakota Tree just came and cut it down !!! I came home while they were in the process----NO CALL BEFORE COMING AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD !!!! nearly 7 weeks after the estimate was given and they charged an extra $100 making it $400 more than the other company who removed many trees in town and also after grinding out stumps put black dirt down which these guys don't do…After that long I really found it extremely odd that they would just come and cut down without calling----how did they even know if I still lived there ?? Would the new residents be shocked or what !!?? So needless to say I am not very pleased !

I had a large elm branch overhanging my garage and I didn't feel comfortable removing it myself. It most likely would have landed on the roof causing extensive damage. I called Dakota Tree company and they safely and expertly removed it at a reasonable cost. They also cleaned up after themselves leaving the grounds in better condition than when they arrived! I recommend their services.
