This resort is awesome! I was there for a convention and the amenities were great! The workforce that it takes to keep this resort running is so pleasant and accommodating!! The 6 pools they have are all awesome! One even has a beach! Another has dual slides! The restaurants are all fabulous too! I highly recommend this resort!

Multiple issues with this establishment. You can tell the employees are just working a day and not loving their jobs. Multiple pools and numerous activities except they close pools early due to private functions and close off seating areas so you cannot listen to bands unless you stand. Oversell rooms and the pools do not have enough seating, reserved pool chairs via hotel and people placing towels out on the chairs then going to breakfast, golfing and no chairs for others. yone watching the people. Had to order room service due to all restaurants closing so employees could assist with private function. Room service, which took over an hour to arrive and food was cold. Several items forgotten and a return visit was needed X 2. I would not recommend the Fairmont Princess for travel plans. Absolutely do not waste your money on their scam for "Gold membership", we got the membership which set us to a quieter area (good) but farther from pools, restaurants, and activities. A big scam!

  • You'll never want to go home.

I loved it here! I've never been to a resort more peaceful. The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday, the spa was excellent, I have never been treated so well, well, maybe never is too generous, the Four Seasons Troon North is excellent too. \r \r Anyway, you'll never wanna go home. The shopping was great and a lot of fantastic restaurants nearby. I will definitely come back -- with a girl of a much better character next time.

  • Beautiful rooms

    Nice resort

  • Stunning -- but isolated

The large rooms and posh facilities are absolutely top-notch -- and the staff goes out of their way to help. The only drawback is that the hotel is so isolated -- it's a couple of miles to get anywhere. So, you're stuck with dining at one of the fine restaurants (or room service) and they're all rather pricey.

  • Beautiful rooms, beautiful setting

To truly experience the desert setting, this is the place. The rooms are absolutely luxurious with truly spacious bathrooms. The grounds provide all the amenities -- pools everywhere, a laguna, several restaurants and a top-rated golf course. If you get the chance, eat at The Grill. Some of the best beef tenderloin I have had in recent memory. But be forewarned, the resort including the bars and restaurants are as expensive as expected.

  • Royal treatment in palacial desert

The resort is top notch with great rooms and beautiful surroundings. An absolute must is time at the spa. The eucalyptus steam room and Vichy shower are an excellent finish to any of the spa treatments (I recommend the hot rock massage). The golf course is a five minute drive, but it is the renowned Tournament Players Club. There are plenty of bars and sitting areas to relax and check out the people. The prices can be a bit steep, so consider a summer visit to get the most for your money.
