I took my step fathers iver johnson s&w 38 5 shot hammerless to them for replacement grips my step father passed on may 17th 2008 and I wanted to display his gun in a type of shadow box well I can not do that after taking this hand gun into them they lost the cylinder and all they can ask me is if I brought it in with one when the lady who tagged the gun said I had the cylinder with the gun I would not trust them in anyway I would tell anyone to stay away from them how they have been in bussiness for so many years is a mystery to me
I have a Glock pistol that I no longer need so I stopped into Locks to see if they would buy it. I happened to stop in a few days before they went on vacation and was told they do not buy any guns right before they go on vacation. The boss asked me what I was looking to get for my Glock and even though I would take a loss I told him $400. He said the best he could do is $350 but not until after vacation. I said ok I would come back then. When they came back from vacation I again stopped into the store and was told that they couldn't buy it this week because they have been buying more guns then they are selling and that the following week would be better. So today I went in and was told buy the guy at the front that the boss said he could only pay $275, Almost $100 less than I was told a month earlier. I feel the gave me the runaround and should have just told me they were not interested. I will never use this business again and will let all my friends know not to use them either.
Don't use this place for anything you need to depend on, or anything you value. They rebarreled a mint USMC Springfield 03 with a NEW barrel I was lucky enough to find and purchase. The idiot that did the work fired a corrosive round thru it (!) and failed to clean it AT ALL. (What gunshop leaves corrosive rounds lying around?) When I picked the gun up, you couldn't see thru the bore. After a months-long song and dance, they replaced the barrel with a used one (eroded throat and all), and told me that was all they could and would do. They told me new barrels (such as the one I provided, original wrapper, cosmoline and all) were impossible to find. NO KIDDING. I should have sued them. They are the most ignorant and arrogant group imaginable. Almost anyplace or anyone else is a better alternative..
Got a replacement cylinder that i needed
