I was renting over $40,000 in trucks from these guys and almost every week I had problems. Especially from Ryan and that female manager. The trucks ran bad, or they didn't have them available. One time I had a truck break down in Kentucky and they left my guys on the side of the road for 12 hours. I wouldn't waste my time with these guys. Rent from Budget or Ryder instead, or if you have to U-Haul. Yes even U-Haul is better than these guys.
Terrible! They rented us a 26 ft. diesel truck that had mechanical problems. We found out later that the truck was a month overdue for maintenance but they rented it to us anyway. We called customer service several times and got excuses. Then they sent repairmen who couldn't even identify the problem! Finally, the THIRD repairman was able to help us, but it was after business hours, and he needed a part that he couldn't get until the following morning. We had to spend the night in a hotel, which was an extra expense. I was driving a rental car and had to extend it an extra day, another additional expense. My husband had to take an extra day off of work. With the low mph and the time spent waiting for the repairmen, we lost about a day and a half. I sent an e-mail to Penske Customer Service describing our experience - no response!!!
