I was very unhappy with my recent maid of honor dress that was ordered at Bridal Chateau. It was suggested that I needed a larger size and was charged a $40 up charge. The dress is far too large and I will need to now pay extra for the alterations. I'll be spending an extra $100 on the dress then necessary. I'm hoping they understand the importance of customer satisfaction and fix their mistakes in the future. We ordered 7 dresses for our wedding party, which was a handsome commission for them. I would reconsider before trusting them with a bridal party order.
It was a wonderful to go to a bridal shop where you are the focus and treated with respect and warmth. I have been to some other bridal shops were you were just a sale. The staff at Bridal Chateau took the time to listen to what I wanted and I found a perfect gown for my special day! Thank you to the staff for making me feel like a pampered princess. I will recommend you to all my friends.
After shopping at several other stores I was thrilled to find Bridal Chateau! The staff was amazing and helpful and really seemed to care about me and my wedding. I found the most beautiful gown and can't wait to wear it on my wedding day. Thanks Bridal Chateau!
I had been trying to find a lace dress with cap sleeves... I went to Bridal Chateau and Beth showed me not only the perfect lace she had made a attachment for cap sleeves just in case someone like me came in ..MIND READER !!! Thanks
I am a high maintenance women and I have shopped at every bridal store within 100 miles. I knew I would be looking at pictures of that wedding gown for many many years and so I was being very careful and very selective. I felt I had to see everything there was and that's why I went to so many bridal stores. Well, all I can say now is that if I had gone to Bridal Chateau first I could have saved myself a lot of time. The selection was not only huge but I saw so many styles that no one else had. Every dress I had seen somewhere else was priced better at Bridal Chateau. My consultant took the time to sit down and really get to know me. She did not try to push me and she really knew her stuff. Well in just one short hour I now have the gown of my dreams. It's a Robin Jillian and amazing is just not a strong enough word. Thank you Bridal Chateau for giving me a day to remember forever and for making what I thought would be a hard job one that was just filled with joy and loving.
I have to say by far that of all of the shops that I visited and we went everywhere it seams in New York State. We ended up at Bridal Chateau. They welcomed us with open arms, without an appointment..Which is unheard of in the world of looking at wedding dresses. (I would suggest making an appointment though because they were really busy)\r \r My consultant was sweet and listened to every picky request that I had. My group of crazies kept her on her feet as well and I have to say that she took the time to talk with me personally away from everyone else.\r \r Bottom line we went I found the dress of my dreams after what seemed like hundreds of dresses at other shops and can't wait to tell all of my friends about my experience.....\r \r You have to go there!!!!
I am getting married in the Fall and I went to a couple different places looking for my dress. David's Bridal was a let down. The dresses seemed cheap and generic. So my group finally stopped at Bridal Chateau and they had a large selection of dresses, in fact, I had a hard time deciding on just one! lol Beth was the name of the girl who helped me and my friends and she was amazing. She definitely knew her wedding dresses and it was such a smooth experience. I am getting a Maggie Sottero dress and we will definitely be going back there for our bridesmaid dresses! If you are looking for a dress and want to go somewhere that's not a chain store and you get a skilled sales person helping you, check out Bridal Chateau. I was happy I did!
I never post reviews, but I feel compelled to in order to save someone trouble in the future. I ordered my wedding gown from Bridal Chateau in January - 7 months before my wedding. I ordered the gown in the color of the floor sample, which looked white, but the tag said it was ivory. I questioned the lady and she assured me it was ivory, and because she was supposed to be the expert, I took her word for it. About two months later, when picking out tuxedos for the groomsmen, I was deciding between ivory and white shirts. I knew the white shirt was closer to the color of my dress, but everyone was telling me to go with ivory if that was the color of my dress. I not only called and spoke to someone who assured me that the floor sample was in fact ivory, but I also went in, spoke to someone else, and held up a white shirt to the dress, which matched. Again, I was ASSURED the dress was ivory. When picking up my dress at the end of May - 5 weeks before my wedding, immediately I knew it was the wrong color. Bridal Chateau incorrectly marked their tag, which was my suspicion all along. The owner made some phone calls and was able to get a ""new"" dress in within 2 weeks (our last resort option, we were told, was to get the floor sample cleaned and I could have that as my dress - - who would want that?!) We were assured it would be new, not a floor sample, etc. Luckily, the dress came and it was the correct color. During my second (and last) fitting, two days before the wedding, my seamstress, who is extremely reputable in Buffalo, mentioned that the seams had been taken in and out in certain places prior to her touching the dress. My dress was USED. I thougt it was weird that it took 5 whole months to get the original dress in, and only 2 weeks to get the replacement. It all made sense to me at that moment. My sister immeiately called while we were still at the seamstress' since I was too upset. Bridal Chateau denied giving me a used dress, sent us a receipt showing where the dress came from, but nothing proving that it was new. I am glad I have so many friends about to get married so that I can warn them to stay away!! They are LIARS and SCAM ARTISTS. I was hoping their bad reputation was limited to alterations, but I was wrong. I wish I had followed my gut and listened to what all of these horrible reviews said before I bought anything from them.
I found the perfect Mother of the Bride dress for my style at the Bridal Chateau in Williamsville. I emailed them a couple of times before I went there and they were very nice and helpful.\r My first time there, they had the dress I wanted so they had me try it on in a super huge size. The dress was extremely loose and slopy looking. I do not like anything tight or fitted, but this was the extreme opposite. They said that dress fit perfect and why don't I take that one. I saw it had missing beads and quite a few strings hanging from it, so I said I would rather order it, which they did. It took over 4 months to come in. I went up to pick up the dress as I was having my friend who was a former Bridal Shop owner in my town do any alterations, so I did not try the dress on. When I got home and tried it on, I was absolutely mortified! I could get it zipped, but I did not dare sit down with the dress on for fear I would break the zipper. I just remember how loose it was the day I tried on that same size in the store. How could this be the same size? I was really panicing as there was not much time left until my daughter's wedding. I called the store and they were very nice and told me to bring the dress up and they did have two other dresses in the same size as mine and the same color. Wow! I felt very lucky, so I left work early and drove up to Williamsville to try on one of the other dresses. First, they apparently did not believe me that mine was too tight, so I had to try it back on for them. Yes, they did agree I could not wear it like that. So I next tried one of the other ones they had ""in stock"". This dress fit much better. I said I would take that one. When I got home and took it to my friend for a ""minor"" alteration, six hours and several days later, she had my dress done. She basically had to ""restring"" a huge part of my dress as well as tie off many, many, many loose strings. My friend ran her business the way a business should be run. She said she would have never let that dress go out of her shop the way it looked. She did say she would have offered a discounted price if the person insisted on taking it that way. I was never offered any type of reduction on my dress. I feel bad because I did not even realize it was that bad looking. I was just thrilled that they had a dress that close to my daughter's wedding that fit comfortably. \r I did learn something from this experience and that is to check over anything and everything you buy from this store very carefully. I would recommed the store in the future, but very cautiously. Beware! Yes, they already did have my payment in full, so what did they have to lose by selling me this dress of such poor quality? They told me the dresses are ""mass"" produced, so this means the dress on the top of the pile compared to the dress on the bottom are completely different sizes! This is crazy. Why do they bother with measurements?
Looking for a wedding dress in Williamsville? Stay away from Bridal Chateau on Wehrle Drive. These people don't seem to care about satisfied customers once they get your credit card number. They promise they can make a dress fit, but before they start they make you pay. And when the dress doesn't fit - well that's too bad - they already have your money. They are expensive, and they don't do what they promise to do. Try somewhere else instead.
