Mahmoudi M.D., Jahangir

I have known Dr mahmoudi for many years since he opened his practice in yuba city. i and maney of my friends and family members have been his patients.in my humble sincere honest opinion he is one of the best neurologist endocrinologist and internist not only in northern california but in the USA.He is highly competent educated ,skilled specialist.He is very nice friendly compassionate doctor,He is very professional and have wonderful friendly staff.his office and his equipments are state of the arts, his office from my observation is clean professional.he is loved by his patients and many doctors who refer their patients to him.he is the busiest specialist in town and his patients are referred to him from all over california.god bless him and his staff helping the people.Also in response to TRENA B who wrote a review that Dr. mahmoudi missed a fatal disease of huntington chorea in my opinion with my nursing training i must say first of all huntington's disease is not a fatal disease it is a genetic disease and it may not be diagnosed in its early stage and secondly it was finally, if she tells the truth it was diagnosed by genetic testing and thirdly there is no cure for such a disease.Dr.mahmoudi is professor of neurology at UCDAVIS and teaches students and residents neurological diseases .and finally TRENA B i must say is simply IGNORANT about medicine and neurological diseases .

In my case, Dr Mahmoudi missed a disabling, fatal disease. I visited his office back in December of 2015. My friends, other doctors, and a variety of other healthcare professionals noticed that I displayed unusual swaying and lurching motions. I do not notice them. Dr Mahmoudi did not see any of these motions and said there was nothing wrong with me. I got a second opinion from another neurologist. This neurologist saw the motions and thought I likely had Huntington's Disease. The Huntington's Disease was confirmed through genetic testing. I would stay away from Dr Mahmoudi;he does not appear to be competent
