Banner Bank

My mom goes in every month to cash her social security check.She does not have a account with this bank because she's 76 and set in her ways. However she's banks with this particular bank because it's close to her.She can't get around she's handicapped and someone usually goes,in the branch to cash her check with her. Not like she's a new customer they have seen her face each month for 13 years!She's being harassed to give unreasonable unrelated information about herself to cash her social security check.I know banks have rules and guidelines but every single month they keep asking her for new information. Stated they need photo id.Which she has she doesn't drive any longer then they want her social then they want to know where she lives.which it states on her identification card.Then they want to know where she used to work which she's 76 retired.Social security she has not worked since 62.Then the bank tellers tell her that's the banks policy.I don't know if they think my mom's incompetent but she's might be handicapped, but she's very competent .Understands everything especially when she's being singled out and harrased by their tellers because you don't have a savings or checking account with this bank.We go up to teller window to cash her check the next
month again same questions but then the teller,says you have no money on your social security benefits.I worked in retail for many years I know all they need to do is call number on back of card and check.Which I did for my mother because I knew the teller made this mistake by entering her amount in wrong or wrong number on card.Then she says well we can only run it once.I like no was not our error please run it again.You know the funds are available because we just checked on the phone.They are scammers and a bunch of cons.very rude and unprofessional to harrase the elderly. If you don't have a checking or savings account is totally ridiculous. I wonder how veteran's or handicapped elderly are treated!

I am from Spokane. I recently moved to the Yakima area. I had a Banner Bank account and I have now closed it because this branch has really RUDE tellers. They roll their eyes at you and NEVER greet you when you approach them for a transaction. When I first showed my ID, one teller had to call her manager because she thought my ID was a fake! GO somewhere else! Don't open an account with BANNER!! They DO NOT appreciate you as a customer and WILL insult and disrespect you!

WOW, it sounds like ALL of Banner Banks are HORRIBLE!! GLAD to see I am not the only one out there with a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL experience!! I hope this place closes down soon! It's NOT worth your business, NOT worth your time and NOT worth a positive review!! STAY AWAY, AVOID this place!! Why are the tellers so rude there?!?! Don't they know how to treat customers? What is wrong with those "people?"

THE DRIVE THRU TELLER OF THIS BANK IS RUDE, RUDE AND VERY RUDE!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TACKY. When I called to complain about her, I was hung up on. Apparently at Banner Bank, they don't like to hear complains. Maybe they receive too many of them to keep track!
