South Bosque Veterinary Clinic

We have used SBVC since 2000 or before, when Dr. Williams was there. We had to put 2 pets down since then, and were not charged since we were regulars. Today we had to put our 14 yr old dog down, called 1st thing this morning, but had to wait until 4pm, and were charged over $90to put her to sleep. We could have had her cremated for $100, but wanted to bury her w/the others. We will not be using their services with any future pets we get, they have only gone up with prices and down with customer care since Dr. Williams left.

I have been to a lot of vets in my life and I do not normally do reviews but I have to say that after moving from Laredo to Central Texas, I found the best Clinic in Texas. Dr. Williams has always been there for me during my animals checkups and to the end when they had to be put down. Dr. Roberts, love her to death. She is always so good with my animals and always and I mean always checks up on them after she sees them. Dr. Johnston is dedicated to his work as the rest of the Drs. He treats the animals like he would his own. couldn't as for a better Vet. Dr. Williams has been so very good to me and explains everything about your animals health in detail. As for their staff, you could not ask for a more dedicated ladies and gentlemen who work in that office. If you want great Drs for your pets, check them out, if you do not care for them then try somewhere else, but I imagine once you go to SBVC you will NEVER go anywhere else again.

They don't get any better than this. This clinic has been taking care of my Chihuahua for years and allowed him to live a very long and happy life even though he suffered from congestive heart failure. At age 15 he finally succumbed to kidney failure but not before Dr. Johnston did everything is his power to keep Taco Bell alive. When it came time to do the humane thing, it was done with compassion and concern for both me and Taco. Taco died in my arms and I know that at that last minute he felt safe thanks to the excellent care and love he received during his final days. The staff has always been so friendly and concerned during our visits.

One thing I didn't mention is that I had moved from Waco to Temple right before Taco got sick and when Dr. Johnston received news from the emergency clinic in Temple that Taco was sick, he reached out to me out of concern for Taco. I did not call him. That is a man that cares.
