Habitat for Humanity

Extremely difficult and frustrating to schedule a pickup of a large antique furniture piece worth $$$. Representative was confused regarding the additional items to be donated (reproduction period light fixture shades in new condition). Pickup scheduled. The window passed and I called to determine status. I was told that I was not on the schedule (revised when I told them who took the information and scheduled me). I was also told that the regular volunteer did not show and others were doing the two pickups in Woodstock. Nobody called me. Man speaking on phone was rude and abrupt and tried to argue with me regarding pickup appointment. Very disheartening experience. Never again. Unfortunate for them as we are clearing out my grandmother's estate and will have virtually new condition furniture available to donate. Will have to find another, more appreciative, charity. Will not be shopping at their store either. They are a very bad representation of Habitat for Humanity. Note that this location is their Restore facility.
