        British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, beginning as early as 3 months. Located inside of LA Fitness Woodhaven, our swimming school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim whenever you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the technique. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all experience levels become safer and more confident in the water. British Swim School’s safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made it the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for every swimmer. Private swimming lessons are also available upon request and subject to availability.

        Be careful if you buy the one year membership. If you do and need to cancel for some reason they have no way to help you. I even offered to pay for the months I used at a higher rate. They do not have any idea how to service customers to return. It leaves you with the feeling they got your money and that is it. Make sure you can for sure commit to a year before you sign up. We don't always know what may come up, so be cautious with long term plans at this gym.
