I don't feel the lab at this address justifies even one star as my experience was not up to any rated standard as far as customer service nor did it cover any sort of positive patient treatment in a decent manner. I am a 70 yr old woman with some hearing impairment and was not able to hear what the phlebotomist was saying if anything. She never smiled or looked me in the eyes or treated me as if I had any knowledge of my own medical needs. I should actually state at first that there is not a soul at the front desk so if a person is not aware of how to use the stand-up robot used to sign in - too bad. If a person enters and sits down behind the glass, you cannot get their attention at all, you are ignored. That alone is a huge problem. When I was called to the back, I was told what to do in a very stern manner - like marching orders. I told the girl that I was not an easy draw and she would need a butterfly. She never once smiled acknowledged me and proceeded to do her workup. I was nervous so explained my veins had been blown and my arms bruised in the past. Not a word was said or effort to make me comfortable. I was becoming anxious. I showed her the best vein to use on the back of my hand and I could only give her one shot at it. She stuck the needle in, jammed it back and forth several times nowhere near the vein. I commented that the vein was rolling further and further away with each jab. I finally just burst and told her what I thought. She said in a rough, non-feeling tone that she was sorry. I was very upset and angry by that time so let her have it by repeating the apology meant nothing especially when I could read faces and hers had no emotion at all other than anger and what she felt about me. I told her she had no feeling for her patients, I did not hear well if she did say something. I was very upset with the process and saw she was not well trained or she would have pinned the vein down in order to insert the needle properly. Bad experience totally!
