Manny's Chop House

I like this one better than Haines City as it is always so noisy and so many drinkers that are obnoxious,,However the food is always great at all the locations.

I love going to Manny's Chop House in Winter Haven, FL. We try to get there a couple of times a month. We take large groups from Church, everyone seems to enjoy it, other than the noise, but it seems all us Seniors do talk and half of us can't hear. However, one person has said he won't go back because MSG is being use. Is that true? Said it was in the steaks.

Could someone please let me know if this is true or false? thank you. Most likely will not stop me from going to Manny's. but it may others. thanks. Jan C.

Great food, good atmosphere. Every time I eat at this restaurant I have great service, Just a few things I don't like. One time I went, I sat in a booth and I could see into the kitchen from where I sat. Well, I looked in horror as I saw a guy sitting on a bar stool inside next to the back door smoking a cigarette! INSIDE. Close to the food! They don't give out to-go drinks, which sucks because they have good tea. Besides that, they have good food and endless salads! I would recommend to others.

Drive is 30-40 minutes from home but this is my favorite place to eat!!

The Winter Haven store sucks! We went there, stood for over an hr, after they told us it would be a 40-45 min wait, then went in to see how much longer it would be. They told us there are 3 ppl ahead of us. Then after they called 6 other ppl, we went in to see what was going on. And they had marked us off the list and had NEVER called us. To say the least after sitting there for an hr and a half with starving kids, we left.
