Winfield Quick Lube Plus

I use this shop for all auto service issues, tires, oil changes, belt replacements, fluid changes, transmission, brakes, and electrical. I have had great experiences with them. They are fast, friendly and price reasonable. THey have been under new management the last year and that has made a huge difference.

They're about the only shop in town that would work on my Japanese car, and about the only shop in town open Saturdays.



I had some pretty complicated work done there, not your usual oil change and tire rotation. They were fast, did exactly what I told them to do, and gave me a better price than the only other shop that would even take a look at my car.



I don't usually take my cars to shops like this, but the Quick Lube has been nothing but great, and has earned my returned business.

I was in a hurry and told them I just wanted a oil and filter change. I still had to turn down windshield wipers, air filter, etc. etc. Total $53.64!!

Take your car to the dealer, take your car to your cousins, just don't take it to this rip off joint. Truthfully I've never had a good experience with any of the quick or jiffy lube shops. always want to sell you something you don't need, and I've never heard of anyone getting the price advertised outside. Well NEVER AGAIN!

well to comment on the last review....you must have been having a poop day because when i went there they treated me with the upmost respect and there services were awesome. they toped off all my fluids and they even offered me a free tire rotate. they were very honest bout the work that needed to be done and they even let me go out with them and look so i decided to let them, after i got other quotes, go ahead and change my valve cover gaskets for only109.99. so about your oil change like i said you must ahve been an up tight ear hole because you must have had a bad day befor you went there in the first place. so i would tell my friends to gothere and get what they need done. they beat the price of the dealerships and thats where you get robbed...not at winfield quick lube plus......

Honestly, I should have asked more knowledgeable friends about where to take my car as I am new here. But I took my car here once because Wal-Mart (/shrug, times are tough) was too busy. It was pricier for a normal oil change (about $50) but I was in a time crunch, so I just paid it. Next oil change I went to WalMart, and they refused to work on it, citing that the oil plug was abnormally tight coming out, and most likely cross threaded by the previous techs. So I took it back to the Quick Lube to have them deal with it.



I am about to go on a long road trip so I asked for full synthetic. I asked the tech how much this was, and he replied he did not know, that I would have to ask the manager. I should have run right then. You do this every day and don't know the prices of your NAMED service?



The manager shouts to me from across the shop "$99 with a $25 coupon" which sounds like $75 to me which is still a little high but WHO PAYS $100 FOR AN OIL CHANGE?



I agreed to this, and they did their little "you need this, ooh that's dirty, let's replace that" song and dance, all of which I refused. When the bill came, it was ~$120. I reminded the young tech of the price quoted by his manager and he "applies the discount" for a total of $99. Wal-Mart's full synthetic package is $50. I protested, and the kid refused to double check with the manager.



At that point, what can you do? The work is done... I gotta get my car back and go to work... upon returning to work I was regaled with horror stories of leaks, double gasketed oil filters, and, you guess it, stripped out oil plugs. I will NEVER take my car there again.



TL;DR - Price gouging, sub-par work.
