VIP Nail Salon

I go to get my nails done here about every two weeks. They always have time for me and do a wonderful job. It is a welcoming and friendly environment. Best manicures and pedicures I have ever had. ❤️❤️

After I read all the good reviews I decided to go here to get a full set done for a vacation I was going on. I sat down at the manicure table and waited for a few minutes while the person next to me was getting the tips glued on. While waiting I saw the dremmel tool Tony was using on the other person slip several times onto the cuticle and finger and once it started to bleed with nothing more than a mumbled 'sorry' from Tony. I also noticed nail clippings and acrylic dust between the manicure tables. Then Tony came over and glued tips on my nails before going back to the other person. I waited for another 45 minutes or so and then I was shifted over to Kevin and he did the pink and white and filing. I specifically told Tony I wanted them square and he 'squovaled' them. While my nails were being done Tony stood next to Kevin and proceeded to have a conversation in Vietnamese. I was then shifted to yet another chair while someone else was put into my old seat and Tony put gel top coat on my nails. There was acrylic dust everywhere and the dremel tools and files were not sanitized and I watched as they used the same ones they used on me on someone else with no cleaning. On close examination four of my nails were crooked and uneven, the pink was not put far back enough on most of the nails, the white smile lines on the majority of my nails were off center, and on my left thumb there was black fuzz in the pink. I was then rushed to pay and practically shoved out the door. Days later, the gel top coat was badly chipped. Two weeks after they were done I went back to get them removed because the corner of one of the plastic tips was lifting and they looked like they needed a fill. I wanted to explain my problems and insist they remove them for free but they were closed in the middle of a day (not lunch hour) with no note or anything on the door to explain why. I went to Magic Nails next to Sally's and had them removed. I paid fifty for the full set which I thought was a little pricey for the area and especially for the quality. Overall, the people were rude and the quality of work deplorable. I do not recommend this salon nor will I go back.





11/27/14 - Today I saw that Michella O. had responded to my review and thought that I had reviewed the wrong salon. I know I went to a VIP Nails & Spa on Valley Pike about a hundred yards from The Puppy Cottage and based upon the address of this business as well as a picture another Yellow Pages user put up of the business front, I can conclude that I reviewed the correct business. As far as an employee named Kevin not working there for over a year, perhaps she is referring to someone else but the man that did my nails told me his name was Kevin. If that is not his name, I am sorry, but I can only go by what I was told.

The customer service and my pink and white manicure was fantastic! I recommend this salon and can't wait to go back! Great job Tony!

This was the best pedicure experience I have ever had. Tony and Helen run a super clean, beautiful salon. The service was the best I have ever had. I had an excellent experience and the staff were all wonderful! I will seriously never go anywhere else again. And the deluxe pedicure is the way to go!

This place is fantastic! Best mani/pedi I've had in a long, long time. Splurge for the deluxe pedi with the hot wax and hot stone massage. Also Helen does a fantastic job with eyebrow waxing.

I just went for a basic pedicure and a french manicure today with one of my bride-to-be friends. I must say that I am not the best judge in nail salons because this is the second time in my life to ever go get my nails done, but this place is amazing! The massages alone will make me go back whenever I want to get my nails done. I have needed some foot massages/reflexology and although I would have benefited from a longer massage, what they did there is amazing. The price is not bad either. The french manicure looks great. Awesome service! I highly recommend VIP Nails to anyone who wants their nails done plus awesome massages.

Tony is very nice and very funny. pays very close attention to detail. Makes sure customer is comfortable and makes certain you overly satisfied with your nails!! Loved my visit and love my nails!!! Highly recommended! !!

This was the best nail salon I have ever been to! I got black tip acrylic nails from Tony, and they are the best acrylics I have ever had. Everyone is super friendly, and customer service is definitely a top priority to all of the employees. I just cannot describe how happy I am with my experience here, but I know I have definitely found my go-to nail salon in Winchester and will be returning shortly :) Come and get a service from VIP nail salon, you won't regret it!

This is amazing! One of the best pedicures I've ever had. Have driven by time and time again but just have never been. Only nail salon i could find on a Sunday that is open at 10am!!

The owner, Tony, did a fantastic job on my nails! I'm a new customer and was treated like family. If you're looking for a new salon this one is the best!

Helen and Tony own VIP and are very friendly and tony especially is super funny. He is honest and does try to save you money. They care about their customers and want their customers to become friends and family the more they come. The atmosphere is private and relaxing with serene music playing and only tony and Helen working. In the summer they have additional staff, but normally people just want them, so I suggest making an appointment unless you don't care to wait or have another person in summer. Great experience, would recommend!

I took my best friend here today for her birthday and it was amazing! We both had a great time and our nails and toenails look amazing! I definitely recommend going here, it's great!

I will never go anywhere else ever again they are so friendly and just make your entire experience everything you could ask for my nails are amazing. I recommend to everyone this is the place to go don't be disappointed ever again.

What a gem of a nail salon!!!! I made a spur-of-the-moment appointment for a pedicure. What a treat for me after a hard day's work. I got the pedicure w/hot stones - so relaxing. The salon is very neat and clean, small and intimate. And the soft, quiet background music certainly took me to my "happy place" - beautiful spa music, so relaxing, so beautiful. After my pedicure, Helen free-handed the most beautiful flower design to add the ultimate final touch to my pedicure. Before my pedicure was finished, I had already made an appointment for a manicure tomorrow evening. I will definitely be spreading the word about this wonderful salon to all my friends and coworkers. And so convenient to my workplace - right around the corner. Definitely well deserving of a 5-star rating. Can't wait for my manicure tomorrow!!!!!

I JUST HAPPENED TO STUMBLE ACROSS THIS NAIL SALON. IT IS THE BEST ONE THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN. VERY FRIENDLY AND CLEAN. THEY REMEMBER YOU EACH TIME YOU GO IN AND THEY DO AN EXCELLANT JOB ON NAILS AND PEDICURES. I WOULD NOT GO TO ANOTHER SALON FOR NOTHING. I ET SO MANY COMPLIMENTS ON MY NAILS ALL OF THE TIME. The new owners of VIP nails are incredible! They are just the sweetest couple. The only thing they care about is that their customers are comfortable and happy. I had my nails done there today, and a friend told me the pedicures are wonderful. The prices are great, the service is unbeatable. This is my new go-to place for sure!

I just love love love Tony & Helen at VIP. They really do treat their clients like a VIP!! All services there are excellent but the pedicures are AMAZING!!! I highly recommend VIP Nails if you want to spoil yourself!!!
