Bill Darden was just 19-years-old when he opened his first restaurant in 1938. It was a 25-seat luncheonette in Waycross, Ga., called The Green Frog and promised "Service with a Hop."
He went on to open the first Olive Garden in Orlando, Florida, in 1982. Olive Garden continues to be the number one full-service Italian restaurant company in the country with more than 800 restaurants bringing Italian hospitality to hungry people around the world.

Top Notch! We have visited this Olive Garden several times. The fare is above average and the atmosphere is a little noisy, but clean and fresh. We enjoy the soup and salad combination. The salad is worth coming back for over and over. You won't leave here hungry or disappointed.
MY HUSBAND SON AND I HAD NOT VISITED THE RESTURANT IN AWHILE AND WANTED TO HAVE A NICE DINNER, FROM THE START OUR SERVER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE ,WE DIDN'T STAY TO GET OUR DRINKS ,IT WAS THAT BAD, AND SINCE THEN WE HAVE HERD SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME SERVER, IT'S A SHAME IT COSTS A LOT TO EAT OUT
The atmosphere of this resturant was very warm and jovial. The main course was very good, especially the shrimp alfredo. On the other hand the Calamari was stuck Between Rubbery and Greasy. The Drinks were Quite good tho, the Virgin Strawberry Daquiree was Blended just enough. The waiting Staff were cordial and Efficient, always Willing to go that extra step.
We've been to Olive Garden twi...
We've been to Olive Garden twice since it opened and left happy. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. Good location and fair prices.
I was looking for a cool place to take out my gf for dinner, she was in town for the first time and immediately Olive Garden came to my mind. We went there and started with drinks and food came in quickly, and finished our food with anothe r ound of drinks. Really I enjoyed and my gf thought of this as just awesome.
This just opened within the last year and is always jam packed. We thought the food was absolutely excellent, well worth the price. Did find the service to be rather slow but overall was a very good experience.
